As we turn the corner of January we begin to think of all those great memories as a kid when we would sit around the kitchen table and make cut out hearts to lovingly tape up on the window. We all loved Valentine's Day. I can remember the excitement of making numerous card boxes for school and picking out the perfect cards for dropping into our classmates Valentine box. We all knew it meant a card but we were really looking for that special little treat that would delight our taste buds. Usually someone would bring in cupcakes or cut out heart cookies all decked out in red icing and sparkling with pink sugar.
